1. Introduction

  1. My World Maker ("we", "us", or "our") respects the privacy of its users and is committed to protecting their personal information. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we collect and how we use it, as well as your rights and choices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information. By using any of our websites, domains, or online services, including those under the My World Maker name and its domain names, and any other features, tools, or materials we offer, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

    This Privacy Policy applies only to the websites, domains, online/offline services, smart devices, and games/apps that we provide, and not to any third-party websites or services that you may access through them. We recommend that you review the privacy policies of any other websites you visit before providing any personal information. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of any significant changes by revising the date at the top of this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly to stay informed about our data practices.

    Some of our third-party service providers may use cookies or pixels on your browser or device to collect information about your use of our online services. This Privacy Policy does not cover the use of cookies or pixels by these third parties. Most web browsers and devices are set to accept cookies and pixels by default, but you can usually change your browser or device settings to remove or reject them. If you choose to do so, it may affect your ability to use some of our online services.

    The information actually processed may differ from game to game. The items, purposes, and retention periods for each game are described separately in Section 12, "Game-Specific Processing". For that game, Section 12 takes precedence over the general wording of this Policy.

  2. This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use. By accessing the Games, you confirm that you understand and agree to the collection, use, and disclosure practices described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. Any updates or changes to this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use will apply to your use of the Games.
  3. Your use of the Product Client, and any personal information you provide through it, is subject to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, which may be updated from time to time. We encourage you to review both documents regularly to stay informed about our data practices and terms of service.
  4. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about our data practices, please contact us at contact@myworldmaker.com. We are committed to addressing any issues you may have and will respond to your inquiries as soon as possible.

  3. We may create aggregated and anonymized data from the information we collect that does not directly identify you. We may use and share this data for various purposes related to the Games or to our company and its affiliated businesses.
  4. We may disclose your personal information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies, agents, businesses, or service providers who process your personal information on our behalf. Our agreements with these service providers limit the use and processing of your information and require them to make reasonable efforts to keep your personal information secure.

  6. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, sale, bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, assignment for the benefit of creditors, or other change of control, your information may be disclosed to another entity involved in that event.

5. Your Choices

We will process your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. However, your options to change how we, the Games, or our affiliated businesses use your information may be limited. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings (resetting your advertising ID or turning off ad personalization) or through the in-game ad privacy settings, where available.

6. Information We Don't Collect

We do not collect any other personally identifiable information about you unless you provide it to us directly, for example by filling out a form, giving us written feedback, communicating with us via third-party social media sites, or otherwise communicating with us via the Games or other means.

7. Information Security

We have appropriate security measures in place to protect your personal information, but we cannot guarantee the security of information processed online. For example, we store personal information on computer systems with limited access, encrypt data in transit (HTTPS), and restrict access to server administration accounts to the minimum number of personnel.

8. Privacy Rights

  1. Subject to applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights in relation to your personal information:
    1. To obtain a copy of your personal information along with information about how and on what basis that information is processed (access);
    2. To rectify inaccurate personal information (including the right to have incomplete personal information completed);
    3. To erase your personal information (in limited circumstances where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed);
    4. To restrict processing of your personal information where:
      1. the accuracy of the personal information is contested;
      2. the processing is unlawful but you object to the erasure of the personal information; or
      3. we no longer require the personal information but it is still required for the establishment, exercise, or defense of a legal claim;
    5. To challenge processing that we have justified on the basis of a legitimate interest (as opposed to your consent or the performance of a contract with you);
    6. To prevent us from sending you direct marketing;
    7. To withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information (where that processing is based on your consent);
    8. To object to decisions that are based solely on automated processing or profiling;

  3. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at contact@myworldmaker.com. We will act without undue delay and let you know the outcome. Note that anonymous information that we cannot link to you (for example, the reach records described in Section 12) cannot be singled out for a specific person and therefore may not be subject to access, correction, or deletion requests.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Games are not directed to children under 13 (under the U.S. COPPA) or under 14 (in the Republic of Korea), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that a child in these age groups has provided personal information, we will delete it without delay.

10. Privacy Officer

We have designated a privacy officer who is responsible for our handling of personal information and for addressing related complaints and remedies.

11. Changes and Updates

  1. We may update this Privacy Policy periodically and will reflect the changes by revising the "Last Updated" date above. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about our practices. Your continued use of the Games after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
  2. If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at contact@myworldmaker.com.
  3. This policy is effective as of the "Last Updated" date and is maintained by My World Maker.

Reach records are stored only under random IDs that are not linked to any person or device, and IP addresses are not stored, so a specific person's records cannot be singled out and individual deletion requests cannot be fulfilled. Reach records are kept while the service is operated and all of them are destroyed when the service ends.
